Re:CFPB Case #140506-000027
Lisa-
I have received your company’s response to my consumer complaint #140506-000027, and all related file attachments as posted on the CFPB website.
Unfortunately, all of your 34 pages of response files relate, and are addressed to Christopher McCrae, Loan #00392409165, at 22 Amanda Street, Springfield, MA. I am not Christopher. I am David, the one who lives in Texas. Possibly Christopher and I share some genetic material, but we’ve never met. I don’t believe we are related. I’m at a loss to understand the basis for your confusion. I have responded to CFPB yesterday that your response appears non-responsive, and we still have open issues.
I am still concerned with accounting for these apparently lost escrow funds, and recovering my legal expenses to date for defense of your wrongful foreclosure claim against my property. I appreciate that the lien release is now properly recorded here in Burnet County, but I am still in need of your payment of $84,624 to resolve our other issues. On receipt of satisfactory funds (PayPal, Google+, BitCoin, wire transfer or paper check accepted), I will move for dismissal of my current bankruptcy status. And see if you can track down the missing escrow funds. I am still bankrupt; I have paid our entire Proof of Claim, including all fraudulent charges, excluding $7.37 in unclaimed funds which we have given to the Court.
Your apparent confusion about my identity is of some concern to me. From the outset of this case, I feel we have not communicated well. My letters have never been acknowledged, and no reply has ever been received. My telephone calls have been continually referred to supervisors of higher and higher levels, and no one has ever called me back. Your substitute trustee at Barrett Burke Daffin Frappier and Turner, or whoever is still a partner up there in Dallas today, has only communicated to me or my legal counsel, that he is ordered by his client not to communicate with me. Now we have finally established some meaningful communication through the offices of CFPB, and I receive 34 pages of various forms of denials of claims addressed to Christopher Mccrae in Massachusetts, who is also apparently experiencing wrongful foreclosure claims. I don’t know if this is just plain incompetence, or negligence, or criminal negligence. The more layers we peel from this onion, the more it smells. It brings me to tears. Tears of rage.
Please remit soonest. This letter is an attempt to collect a debt. All information received will be used to that purpose.
Please remit soonest.
Bless your little hearts,
Dave McCrae
